New signage applied to Alliedblue pumps

August, 2016

Alliedblue pump

Allied Petroleum have introduced brand new signage and warning labels on all Alliedblue (diesel exhaust fluid) pumps at Allied Fuel Stops.

The Alliedblue pump signage was reviewed after a number of customers (with light vehicles) mistakenly confused our diesel exhaust fluid pump with a fuel pump.  The new signage has been designed to eliminate this confusion, as pumping diesel exhaust fluid into a fuel tank (even in small quantities) can result in significant engine repair.

A recent incident in Motueka highlights the damage diesel exhaust fluid can cause when it gets into a vehicle’s fuel tank.  Click here to read the article.
