Allied Petroleum’s Petrol Station in Glenavy (10 Innes St) has reopened for trucks after being closed during a recent rebuild of the site.
The Petrol Station has been rebuilt to allow easy access for trucks. The new truck stop now has its own forecourt, which is separate from the 91 and 95 petrol pumps. The brand-new site design will cut out the congestion between heavy transport operators and consumers filling up their light vehicles. Truck drivers will also enjoy the two new high flow diesel pumps for faster refuelling and Alliedblue (diesel exhaust fluid) at the pump.
Construction work will continue on this week to erect the new forecourt canopy, and the 91 and 95 petrol pumps are expected to be operational by the end of this week.
The new payment machine accepts Allied fuel card, Mobilcard and Ruralco card. Visa and Eftpos are also accepted at this site.
Alongside local residents from the Glenavy and Waimate districts, the Glenavy Petrol Station is also used by heavy transport operators. During the site rebuild, Allied Petroleum installed two new fuel tanks. The new tanks will cater for the growing volumes of fuel being used by our heavy transport customers who travel through Glenavy along State Highway 1 (between Invercargill and Christchurch).
We’d like to thank our customers and local residents from Glenavy and Waimate for their patience while construction on the site continues. For further inquiries regarding the Glenavy Petrol Station, please phone 0800 383 566.
