Allied Petroleum continues to expand their Allied Fuel stop network, with the recent opening of a purpose built truck stop in Richmond. With this new addition, the Allied retail network now boasts a total of 62 fuel stops nationwide, operating 24/7. Our Richmond facility began trading on 18th November, following an official opening ceremony attended by the Mayor of the Tasman District.
Richmond’s new Allied 24/7 site is a necessary link towards the completion of our Allied South Island network. In particular, it offers an additional refuelling location for commercial transport operators travelling between the West Coast and Marlborough regions. The fuel stop is located on the west side, two kilometres away from the city’s town centre. It offers hassle-free access for heavy transport operators wanting to avoid Richmond Town Centre’s congested pedestrian areas.
We’ve invested in modern equipment at the site, including the latest outdoor card payment terminal and hi flow diesel pumps for faster refuelling of heavy vehicles. Alongside having diesel at the pump we’ve also made Alliedblue (a diesel exhaust fluid) available, to keep up with the increasing demand from SCR engine vehicles on our roads.
In addition to Richmond, we are currently constructing a further fuel stop in Levin, so keep an eye out as we continue to grow our Allied 24/7 network.
Richmond Fuel Stop is located at 16 Artillery Pl, Richmond. Click here to view Richmond Fuel Stop on our location map.
