Allied Petroleum is pleased to announce the arrival of Alliedblue, available at a growing number of our Allied fuel stop locations. In addition, it’s available in intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) and smaller packs. Alliedblue is a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) manufactured in New Zealand entirely from natural gas, and is used to treat, and reduce, the exhaust emissions harming our environment. With the growing numbers of SCR engine vehicles on our roads and working fleets being upgraded by their owners, there is growing demand for diesel exhaust fluid in New Zealand.
Alliedblue was installed at our first fuelstop in Ruakaka in January 2015, and our DEF network has grown to include 15 locations that now offer Alliedblue at the pump. We will continue to install Alliedblue at a number of existing refuelling facilities, and as part of our new fuel stop builds over the following year. We expect to have a completed DEF network available by mid 2016 that will offer the Road Transport industry easy access to Alliedblue, right throughout the country.
Alongside the growing demand at the pump, we’ve also enjoyed good demand for IBC containers from the rural transport market. IBC containers can sit alongside a diesel tank providing a hassle free way for rural transport fleets to fill their tanks when returning to home base each night. 1000L IBC containers, 200L drums and 20L emergency packs can be collected from Allied Petroleum’s warehouse locations or delivered to the customer’s location.
